RE:CODE is an independent game studio started out of London, UK by Luke – me! Ever since a young age, I always wanted to be a game developer and this dream was brought on from my own love of playing games as a kid.
My own love of games makes me a gamer first, and game developer second. This is why when developing our games the most important thing has always been the sense of community that our games create through our channels like Discord, and player feedback and suggestions have always been taken into account with developing new content for our games.
I started learning about game development from a very young age by messing around with different game engine software. I used to have fun experimenting with Game Maker by YoYogames and RPG Maker. As I grew older I learnt C# and began using Unity. After spending years learning Unity and messing around with smaller projects, I decided to start making games professionally and started the indie game development studio RE:CODE.
Since then, we’ve developed games for PC, Steam and Nintendo Switch, and have worked alongside talented individuals. We have big plans for the future!
